My painting Ball In Hand will be on display in "Parks & Recreation plus I'll be sharing information and demonstrating for my upcoming classes. Sign up for my drawing class, Line to Design, or my Oil Portrait Painting Class, or both!, I will make learning to master basic and intermediate skills logical, rewarding and fun!
My drawing class will be on Thursday mornings, 9:30 am-12:30 pm and portrait painting will be Monday evenings 5-8 pm.

I will be exhibiting an oil painting, titled Sea Rose, which is the pattern of my silverware.
My drawing workshop is geared toward students who have had at least one beginner drawing class or some exposure to art and desire to advance their skills.
We focus on figure and portrait drawing along with other subject matter which students have personal interest in exploring.

Painting flowers has always been a challenge for me, let’s just say not my go-to subject matter. However, when I submitted this concept to Wellen Park, I knew, these flowers, were ones I could wrap my artist brain around.
Beginning with the large purple bloom, I rendered the shapes, dark to light, then light to dark, and back again, brushing in bursts of color and flashes of sunlight, along with just a few strokes to dazzle the eye.
Now that’s what I call Flower Power!
